found a turbo engine but need help
found a turbo engine but need help
i have now found a celica gt4 thats been broken and the lad is willing to sell me the engine and shell so i have everything
moke:unfortunately this isnt a straight swap as 1st thought as my engine fits the other way round so things like sump, mounts, oil pick up etc are in the wrong place.
would anybody be able to take any of this work on to help me out???
i am willing to try doing it but its a bit far advanced for me as i can only change bits that dont need altering
or can anybody offer any advice for me???

your pretty much doing the same conversion as 2Tongues.

ToyotaGT did the original work on 2tongues' car, and they thought it would be too difficult but even they found it was a lot more complex than they thought (and they specialise in that engine too).

14-01-2017, 11:51 PM #10I guess at least the electronics and some other bits are more setup for that engine. But you're taking a transverse engine and mounting it longitudinally as has been said.
ToyotaGT did the original work on 2tongues' car, and they thought it would be too difficult but even they found it was a lot more complex than they thought (and they specialise in that engine too).
