when this story broke, it hit me, and worried about my wife and kids who are also in Pakistan and due back this Friday.
But im now convinced its a inside job, number one, not many people knew the date when they were going to return to the UK as this is the date when they were kidnapped.
And why would the father return? Would you return, if your child was missing, one week just after???
doesnt make sense to me......

Yeh or to get the 100k as ransom, my heart says yes i hope it is, as said eariler the kid would be safe, and other families can feel safer.

the thing is, i thought about the sittuation of no money, i would struggle if this happened to me, however in the majority of Asian families, the relative would assist with any financial problems, not that im saying it would happen in all families.
the fact that most of the family have been staying together in one house shows the support from family, i would have thought this would come with financial support.
I know, god forbid, if this happened to my family, and I had no money to go pakistan, then i know i can rely on relatives to help, and vise versa

People will do anything for money/publicity just look at the Sahnnon Mathews case(as mention earlier) and that kid in the States in the weather balloon, it's difficult for me to say having no real knowledge of Pakistan but the kidnapp of a 5 year old child seems harsh would of thought they'd of gone for a more senior member of the family.

i think its a inside job mate. my family knows this person from birmingham and he was from pakistan and he had a wife and 2 kids here so he got life insurance on the wife and went pakistan got his brother to shoot his wife twice but yet she remained a live and now they are divorced and he in jail
