oh right cheers wozza-just waiting for lexus to ring me back-id still pick up a spare one if anyone has one as it looks like the kinda bit that will go again-from the way mine pinged off earlier

Should be able to get one from a breaker's - e.g. from one with an already-damaged bonnet (the catch will probably be fine).

Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

it doesnt sound stupid to me - i would be interested in seeing how you do it if you do get the time to do one wozza-although to be honest today i know i did something different from normal which ive never done before which was to kinda lever the clip down with my thumb to allow the arm to come free easier - first time and last i shall employ that method-typical as i was only trying to clear up an intermittant sidelight bulb-not cool on fogs and sides with one side light out(in the fog)
