I'm after a decent but cheap (as always) RC Helicopter.

The plan is for my trip to Pakistan this October, Im looking at attaching a camera to the helicopter and taking some video footage as well as still pictures.

I need a decent helicopter, with decent range? as where i live it is open space, no overheard wires of tall buildings.

Im also thinking about getting a wireless cam fitted as well hooked to my laptop so can fly it via laptop screen.

What do you think? anyone got any experiance on helicopter, or got one and recommend it, soo many on ebay

Are you looking for electric, nitro or a gasser, do you know what sort of weight you will be lifting and duration you will require?

I fly RC helis as a hobby so if i can offer any assistance just ask.

A helli is what i would go for, but I am scared of crashing it and destroying what is an expensive toy....

This is what I am thinking - I will have to play with something as the Mrs won't let me play with the new toy - apart from tinted windows, and a lot of polishing.

sorry about the delay, been converting a loft, and just finished building the staircase !

I am after electric only cause they cheaper, and if i could get one below 70 quid I would be happy, however depends on the distance it travels.

Weight wise for it to carry, I am not sure at this point in time,

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V...:MEBIDX:IT

the above link has a camera fitted already which feeds live back to a laptop which is ideal, however quality is not the best but viewable without having to watch the helicopter from the air.

Something like this as well?:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V...K:MEWAX:IT

If i had something like that, then I would strap a separate camera to it, for vids and images, something like flycamone something like this?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RC-HELICOPTER-PLAN...2a05f688fc

but any help Phil would be much appreciated.

I'm not planning to spend hundreds as I dont have the money, but quality of vid and images kinda overweighs the price if reasonable, if that makes sense,

the last thing I want to do is buy a cheap helicopter, strap a decent cam to it, but find it vibrates too much.
