Rob just got back myself mate.

Hope you enjoy Thailand.
Try to get to the tiger temple around a hours drive from Bangkok airport if you have the time.
You can do the river kwia as well on this trip if interested do the kwia in the morning and tiger temple around 2 oclock.
While in phuket I can recommend going to Pee pee island lovely little trendy island.
Also worth going on the afternoon trip into the hong island.

Another area that really nice is Koh Samui

I had a bit of rain but only for a hour most days but the rest of the day was 35%

:been a few times before mate and i tend to avoid the touristy places, and go fo ^r off the beaten track if i can, the tiger place doesnt appeal as it screams tourist trap- my opinion only. phi phi is very nice but again too many people for me - but it looks amazing, ill give it that. im on my own for about 10 days and the missus comes out after my diving is done, so ill get some peace and quiet haha.

mmm so if you had rain then monsoon is starting a bit earlier. ill prob head off to the east coast afterwards then.

ill put some piccys up if i get a chance.

just checked the seats situation with Thai ( I fly standby) and they have loads of seats free so business class here i come.....
