Dealers still struggling?
Dealers still struggling?
Got a call from my Lexus dealer earlier in the week asking me if I was interested in changing my car - wasn't too interested as per my previous thread, but as I still have that expensive repair to do thought I'd pop in and see what's what.
Worth considering here that I inquired about p/exing early last year and was offered £4,500 at the time. Today they said they'd give me £7,350 against a new car, or £4,800 against a used car which I thought were quite decent valuations, especially considering Parkers has a p/ex value on my car at £3,385 hock:
Obviously this was straight off, so some further negotiation might have brought prices down even further. So seems like we're still stuck deep in recession right now despite all the nonsense that apparently we're recovering.............
How old is your car? Depends what you want from the new car I guess as to whether you'll get an £8k cost to change or not but I think it should be quite achievable......
