Nice work mate
Fantastic job mate, looked in pretty good condition for its age? and a lot better after the detail, the wheels came up to an amazing shine
Love the older classic motors
Wow hock: Amazing work Christian !
I do have a bit of a soft spot for the old Stag.
I know it has had quite a bit of restore work done in the past but not certain how much.
He hasnt seen it yet, its waiting in the garage for him to collect tonight. He's seen the thread and is very very happy
superb work christian.
love how it all comes up so well especially the wheels.
would alloy wheels come up as well as these did???
Hi Chri5, alloys can come up equally as clean yes, but, it does depend how well they have been looked after and how badly pitted they are. Generally the inner rims are neglected by owners. To be honest as these were to, as you saw from the pics, the customer was just happy for me to spend about 3 1/2 hours for each front wheel alone. But these are also a polished wheel where as most alloys dont have that type of finish, hence the wonderful shine they produce when cleaned, polished and sealed.
Cheers Dave, and everyone's comments
That Bilbery wheel cleaner is great stuff, it's highly recommended on Detailing World, and it's what I use too. You can get it from Clean Your Car (as well as from other places).
