ok so my car is now fixed Smile
apart from using water still but i cant find that leak yet :crying:
but thats not my question lol

i have quite a leak coming from the oil sump.
i did seal using what i thought was adequate for the job but its slowly worked itself a small hole somewhere.
i thought that a cork or paper gasket would be better but toyota dont sell these and the sealent that they sell is apparently £50 which for obvious reasons i arent paying.
so what sealent would be suitable or should i get a piece of cork and cut it to shape???

I used flange sealent mate.
Was told it can take the heat so should be ok.
But it's just slowly getting worse.
Doesn't help that there is a few sump bolts missing but bizzarely it's not leaking from them parts anyway
