Any one else think that last nights TG was a little fixed???

Tom Curse crunched every gear, went round on 2 wheels and still knocked a second off the previous best time................................

The bit on Senna was 100% great though - although a space filler IMHO.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing... was dead surprised when he was (apparently) faster...

and the filler on Senna was just filler - Though I agree with you that it was quality filler. Not like they were showing it cos he would've turned 50 that day or anything ("would've been 50 earlier this year", Clarkson said), so there was no "current" link or reason to show it?

I'd like to fix Cameron Diaz...

Definitely a fix to keep a big star happy. I genuinely liked the Senna piece and thought it was nice for Top Gear to actually cover something interesting for a change - although it could've done without Hamilton in it IMHO.

Then again, when has Top Gear ever not been a fix? Do you really think Clarkson has genuinely won all of those challenges? Smile

I'm not sure it was fixed, he did look **** quick and even though on two wheels at the end he carried a ridiculous amount of speed through the last 2 corners and also effectively straight lined the last corner.

Not sure if it was more than a second quicker than everyone else, but I wasn't surprised it was the fastest time.

The test driver really showed what it could do though, goes to show that you need to be a real op driver to get the most out of it. Oh and have the room to do so.

I wonder how it would fare against a 1000bhp supra/Skyline?????
