Some technical guy off the astra oc forums As of the 13th of August, you will no longer be able to factory order Astra VXR's.
The Astra VXR was due to cease production shortly anyway, but this has now been brought forward due to the new Euro 4 emissions legislation which dictates that any car built with a Euro 4 engine after 31st September 2010 must be registered by 31st December 2010.
The new emissions regulations take out another "hot hatch", apparently:

I'm not sure the VXR is currently that good to drive so let's hope it brings about an improvement
