Torque Wrench
Torque Wrench
Afternoon all, want to get a torque wrench for the wheel nuts, can anyone make any recommendations as to what to get, as in what size (3/8", 1/2", 1/4") reversable, square drive???????
THIS seems a good deal from £60 down to £27 delivered!
He you go mate, if all you want is to torque wheel nuts and the occasional nuts/bolts,

Argos one comes complete with 3/8 adaptor and 5inch extension, ideal for wheel nuts.
I saw that argos one on a google search....can get a draper one for the same price & i dont like the argos own brand:Shooting: can see it breaking after trying to tighten one nut lol
Anyone know what size socket i need for the is wheel nuts?
Sorry chaps-I must have got in wrong, if you only want an occasional wheel nut torque then why pay for a branded name when something like the ARGOS challenge brand will do.
In my shed I have ARGOS 240v drill, orbital sander, hand car polisher, jigsaw, detail sander and they all offer more spec than the relevant black and decker at half the price, but then it is all down to the case of "unbranded",
Hey phil, your spot on mate, it is just for occasional use, but when the branded name is the same price, or a better one is available for just a little more I don't see the point of getting the Argos own brand
