O.E Nav discs
O.E Nav discs
2002 will be DVD - if it's the same as mine that will be a 2001 disc. So depending on cost it might be a worthwhile upgrade as it will be a few years newer.
well my 2005 sat nav didn't have a road built in 2003, so not sure if the upgrade will be that good.....
Oh the 2007 disk in the Prius still hasn't got this particular road - its not a small one either.
They're a few years out of date generally, but I'm surprised a 2007 disk doesn't have a road built in 2003 :confused1:
Its a shame Toyota don't do what Honda do and use another manufacturer. The hondas have Alpine systems and use Alpine updates - every year they are done.
But even the Alpine maps will be coming from one of the same sources, Navteq or whatever the other one is called so will be just as far out of date.
The only step forward is to use google maps, which is slowly filtering into cars now (audis and bmws I think) but it's still not fully integrated, but the fact you can search google is a step in the right direction.
