Grr ... stupid eBay - but success in the end !
Grr ... stupid eBay - but success in the end !
I copied and pasted the same email to send to various sellers who were breaking IS200s.
eBay incorrectly detected this as someone else using my account and sending unauthorised emails. So they changed my password and sent me an email about it, which is fair enough.
However, the link to change my password doesn't work properly and it keeps refusing to change my password. Can't find any phone numbers on eBay so have had to email them. Can't login at all now.
Grr :Shooting: eBay

Thanks for the phone number. They directed me to the "Live Chat" facility where you talk to an actual person (not the stupid automated thing that gives out standard answers to your questions), doing that right now.
Right, all sorted !
eBay directed me to that "Live Chat", as I said. It's pretty hard to find, I had to search for it in the Help section, but the guy I spoke to was great. Seems like my account was still locked in some way (not what the email I received implied), and he fixed that, gave me a temporary password, I used that and then logged in and changed my password.
So once I got to speak to someone, eBay were great :thumbup1:
Not often you hear that
lol just what i thought
