Well im not selling up just yet so will be keeping the lexus for the moment so i can continue with the custom products.
I have a few jobs that need looking at and one of them is to redo some of the wiring to the amps to hopefully rectify the problem of my battery going flat all the time.
While the audio is out i have the oportunity of looking into a boot lifter kit. Now after speaking to a few of you at JAE its clear that a few of the members have problems with getting it up, boot lid that is :laugh:
Anyway, this is just a gauging interest thread and it won't happen for a few months yet as i have about another 10 gearknobs to make
Im aiming to do a direct fit kit that will use existing holes/fittings. It will be supplied with all brackets/bolts/fixings and will be a simple 20 minute job to fit and adjust to work for your boot lid. The gas struts im currently looking at are adjustable so will work with spoilers of all shapes/sizes and even standard bootlids. The gas struts are supplied at full pressure and the pressure can be turned down to work perfectly for each different boot.
Would anyone be interested? Its just a gauging interest so if there are a number of people interested we can look at price later. Im expecting it to cost around £40, but it could be cheaper????
