I decided to sit down and watch some TV tonight so at 9.00pm on ITV1 there was this 999 documentary.
After 30 minutes I'd had enough!
Why do all programmes have the "coming up later" then show you most of the programme content in 2 minutes, let's add in the advertisements and low and behold there is around 30 minutes of programme material stretched over the hour.
I have now got to the point where I record most of the programmes I want to watch onto a HDD recorder so I can skip the **** bits and the ads or time slip it for 10 minutes so I can do the same.
One good thing about the ITV player on the PC they cut out the ads.
I must develope a device that pauses recording when the ads come on ( ITV etc would pay me not to market it!!)
