hi all i was wondering if any of you have had this problem i have a 03 lexus is 200 sportcross nav ed.took it in for a new car stereo to be fitted at my local car stereo centre they fitted it well.. until i tryed the sat nav out and it keep,t blinking up and down plus the cars clock stayed on even with the ignition turned off and nav keep,t going up and down too. no image on the screen. so they re,installed the old radio and put back the cars amp wire back into the amp and all was fine.. they think it might be the rong amp bypass lead was ordered but the part number looks correct it was pc2-92-4 the one with the long connector on . there is another one made by the same company called autolead and it looks the same but the part number is pc2-104-4 is there any difference i hope so other wise i am stuck with the factory original any help guys would be much of a great help thx.. Fargo makes a box of tricks for the sat nav sound to still work after installing an aftermarket stereo.

as for the clock staying on thats an issue with the bypass lead.

well the sat nav sound was still working... but had no picon sat nav screen and it keep,t going up and down with ingnition on or even in off plus clock was on all the time.had word with the garage today and 1st of all they said they would get a feed from some were else in the car by cutting in to another feed . i said no way forget it i told them about the differnt lead the on numbered pc2-104-4 so they asked audioleads or so they said they did. if it was different to pc2-92-4. they said it is slightley different apparently. does anyone know on here if they are the same or if they are slightly different?.they olso said they would try to fit this new lead and see if it works. but if not they will give me my money back. i am a bit suspicious if they are just going to chop the cars wires around for this to work. what do you guys think? shall i just ask for my cash back? are the leads different? any hel much welcomed:Sulk:
