As some of you may know - I am selling my car and finally got round to removing the supercharger today. Slight problem I have is Engine Management Light is on due to lack of an air intake temperature sensor. Can anybody tell me where this is on engine and what it looks like ? A pic would be good and if anybody happens to have one even better ???

Car seems to be running fine but didn't travel far.

Cheers

Thanks guys - I had induction kit and apexi filter fitted but do have the tte airbox in garage so will have a look in morning. Had a look under the bonnet in the dark and can see a bung type hole on right side of stock airbox -looks like it might fit on there ? I take it doesn't need any wiring ?

I managed to get one on ebay so just need to know how/where to fit it on if its not on that bung thing and if car ok to drive meantime ?

Cheers

Yeah the car will still have needed it, it may have been pushed into the pipe of the induction kit somewhere.
it should have a plug and wiring as well

you wire it into the two wires that go to the ecu(???) that shows the air intake temperature?

Its usually on the right hand side of the engine Kev, above the rear of the alternator, and it usually pushes into the bottom of the RHD lower side of the air box? check your silicone pipes mate as it might still be pushed into one of them? will try and find a pic of it so you know what your looking for?

Can't find a pic of the sensor mate but here's a pic of where about's the wiring is for it? it comes out of the thick wiring loom behind the alternator?

Hopefully you'll be able to see it?

Click on the pic to make it bigger mate,
