Lovely RX-7

This RX-7 has taken us around 3 months of daily searching to find. We only select low mileage RX-7's that have not been subject to abuse or neglect.

With most examples on offer nowadays being tired, battered and in need of major expense to put completely right, we hadn't wanted to compromise so continued to search until we found this excellent example - which we're now proud to put our name behind.

Comparing closely with other examples on offer elsewhere, you can see why this car offers much better value for money than typically abused and poorly cared for examples.

As a post 1996 model it's equipped with the later 16 BIT factory ECU and other improvements designed to further improve reliability and drivability inclusive of improved ABS system.

This car's recently received cosmetic modifications to enhance it's aesthetic appeal, with only minor performance modifications which help retain good reliability.

An FD3S RX-7 as standard has excellent junior supercar performance & doesn't require major tuning. Better for road use is to have a non-tempermental car which will give years of trouble-free mileage and help paste a cheesy driver's smile.

Type RS model was a more expenive factory car. With a higher output 280 bhp tune from the factory, it carried larger discs at each corner (Requiring a minimum of 17'' wheels size), Alcantara trimmed front seats (2+2), vented LSD cover, light weight alloy space-saver spare wheel and a host of other improvements - such as Bilstein suspension, Momo, etc - although these have been modified to greater benefit on this car).

Cosmetic & Performance Modifications: Veilside VSD1 GT genuine front bumper and skirts are fitted.

At the rear there's a 3D adjustable C-West Aluminium GT wing. Wheels are excellent condition RE-Amemiya 17" items, shod with good quality Advan AD07 sports tyres of size 235/40R17 front & 255/40R17 rear.

Suspension upgrades consist of Kei Office (Keichi Tsuchiya of time attack & D1 fame was CEO of this company) coilovers.

Note post 1996 rear lights and of course 1999 style front combination lights. Side-repeaters have also been replaced with better matching clear types.

There's a Kakimoto Hyper 2000 Full Mega N1 + Dual cat back exhaust system (Original front pipe and catalyst are retailed) With these base modifications power will be around 290 bhp - whilst retaining reliability.

Interior: An Alpine 1 DIN 180W CD/Radio/Ipod player is fitted. Mounted on the dash, there's a Pivot electronic boost gauge also complimented by a Pivot turbo timer.

Please note electronics are supplied untested & free of charge with this car. A Momo Jet leather sports wheel (With carbon trim) mounted on a bespoke boss kit & Mazdaspeed carbon look shift knob greet the driver.

Although nothing further is needed for this car, please note we're specialists in the supply of performance parts for RX-7's. For example, we'd recommend an Apexi Power FC ECU & commander, Profec B Spec II boost controller and Greddy V-mount kit, to easily take power output to approx 330 bhp with safety!

Just beautiful.

totally worn out and broken, shouting 'Holy ****, WHAT A RIDE!'"
