Just wondered if you guys think 125k is high mileage on a diesel Beemer? It's a 2001 plate so just over average but mostly motorway miles, any thoughts?

No It's on autotrader, but its exactly what I'm after right spec, colour wheels everything, just the mileage is putting me off.

Know enough about cars to know what I'm looking for just not sure about buying one with higher mileage than mine, would give it a full service anyway just so I know exactly what's in it, might just wait until one with less miles comes up, need to change the Lex soon though its costing me a bomb in fuel.

21-01-2018, 10:40 PM #10Common problem is the flaps for the traction control in the intake manifold, see if they have been upgraded or just removed, if they break which they are known for, its a new engine. Check the owners club for details.
