Going to service the car in the coming future, Just wandered which type to go for.

I have seen the bosch Super4 plugs, NGK Laser Iridium, and normal plugs.

Is it worth using the standard or will it only run on properly on the iridiums?

Going to order some new brake pads as mine are a little thin, Going for the Mintex pads.

Just been looking at them on ebay. Have always used the bosch super 4's in past cars, But seen the lexus uses iridiums. Only use them in my bike as they are a cnut to get to (Tank off, airbox out then loads of extentions to get down to them!)

Have a look at these mate, CLICK ME? There the SK20R11 which are the original iridium plugs that Lexus use, good price and they last for around 60,000 miles before needing to change them again!

The Denso IK20's have a life span of around 30,000 miles and usually cost more? Stay away from the super 4's as they break down very quickly and need replacing! think i did about 2000 miles with them in mine and soon got them out again?

Can't go wrong with the Mintex pads, always been very good, but if you fancy a better set go for the Black Diamond, there great, i've had them on most of my cars, very little dust and they bite really well! but they are a lot more to buy than the Mintex Big Grin

Lexus IS200 Sport Navigator (Now being stripped again)

Thanks!

Whilst I had a spare minute at work i changed the cabin filter (£6 from the motor factors next door) and whilst i was at it was going to change the engine filter. Undid the housing and out popped a K&N panel filter, Bit on money saved there! Gave it a clean and put it back in and all is good!

Can get the ferodo pads for about £30 from the same place (Trade discount, Just for working next door to the place!)
