Nah, they was way too far gone for me to do it myself.
First time round I took them to a place in Southend who diamond cut the lips (which I didn't want), painted the inside of the wheels a horrible grey colour (which I didn't want) and did the spokes a gunmetal colour (when I asked for gold).
Incidentally I liked the gunmetal colour, so I left the spokes as they were, but second time round I sent the rims off to a place down the road form me that specialises in polishing motorbike parts. He mirror polished the lips and re-powder coated the inside of the rims a sparkling silver colour.
As I couldnt find any M7 replacement bolts, I purchased a load of high tensile M8 bolts and had them chrome plated. Most of my day today has been taken up drilling the M7 holes out to M8 and grinding down some of the powder coating that prevented the wheels from bolting up properly.
