So my big bundle of PLX stuff for monitoring AFR/EGT/BOOST has arrived and I've found a nice little place to hide them away behind the glove box.

Question is, does anyone know what wires I can tap into there to get a decent 12v IGN feed? All the wires look pretty beefy and I doubt the PLX stuff consumes much.

Any ideas?

Why not route it across from the stereo?

ive got that much stuff now i use the switched 12v from the radio to power a relay that connects a live from the battery to a separate fuse box.

there is a IGN feed on the factory Amp cabling or you could take a feed form the radio / cigarette lighter feed

Edit: or do what stav says thats what i did in mine and i also did the same in wozza's car...

Cheers boys. I'm looking to draw 30w, should the amp/radio feed be able to cope with that?

The whole switched feed is beyond me tbh.

EDIT: Also, how hard is it to route a cable from the drivers side of the dash (near the A pillar) over to the glove box? I had a quick look this evening and I couldn't see any direct route?

Nice one mate. This is beginning to look a bit easier than I initially thought.
