Started my Rewire today
Started my Rewire today
Well as the title says i have started to re-wire the lexus, i have started inside the car tidying up all the aftermarket items i ahve installed along with the CAR pc full configuration
Stage one was to remove the dash to show me the scope of the challenge ahead of me....
Stage two was to remove as much wiring that i could carefully to allow it to be re-installed
No pics of this stage as there wasn't much that i could just chop out lol
Stage 3 Start the the rewire...
As you can see form the passeneger side its a improvement so far but that was starting at 9am and finishing at 7pm:Chair:
Plan for tomorrow get all the alarm system tidied up attempt at fitting the Turbo Timer again as i have another plan for this....
Rabs
Ouch - a LOT of work there Rabs
Sure you're up to the job though  You going to carry the tidy up into the engine bay and do a full wire tuck?
Best of luck... While you're in there can you take a couple pics of which wires I would need to mess about with to wire up the LED Sills?
Cool If I have something to copy, I'd be happier about doing the fitting
Be interesting to see what people come up with over these 11 days
I spent today fitting my Cusco front arms and regassed my aircon while I was at it. Next up is some wiring... not on the same scale as this though, I'm not doing the dash out thing for a month or so!
:topic:Well after seeing this my problem might not be so bad .
I bought an ipod cable for my headunit from Japan and my ipod when playing from the headunit goes off and on then off then on all the time, this is pi$$iing me off . not sure if it the cable itself of just the connection from cable to headunit but need to get this sorted .
Surely you just use this cable Mole? http://www.justkenwood.co.uk/car-audio.a...02-adaptor
Obviously not for £40 though lol
Yes thats the one I have , but I think it was about £5 from Japan .
But not sure if its dodgee or not but it keeps going on / off all the time
