hi peeps pretty gutted know really as i have for once in life tempted to do something on my car and as soon as I do it i just **** it up big time well atleast i'm lucky cause they were the spare headlamps of my previous is200 Smile but know i have one more headlamp left to do then if that cocks up wich i know thats going to happen Sad then i'm pretty much gutted melted all the backing of it and also the the same top it as Karl-p thats has done on here shall i attempt another go?????

Be brave... And post up a pic of how badly the first one went too...

Least now you know to turn the heat down a bit and leave it in less time!

dave its in the bin was smelling up the house of burnt plastic least i split it apart lol "when it was burnt".

what temp did you set the oven for and how long did you leave it in.

On most cooking instruction it says less time if Fan assisted, have you taken that into account??, And No I was not taking the pi** as fan ovens do heat quicker

Ouch pretty much melted mine but just gonna swap the interior with one off eBay then try n sell the old one on flea bay

phil my ovens just has numbers form 0-9 and doesn't tell you the temp picture its one of them thats in the wall pretty useless don't worry no offence taken lol

next one start the oven at the lowest temperature mate (1)and check after a max of ten mins, you can do and don't cuss yourself down
