What is it with those clowns on the other forum? They have severely restricted my access and available functions, e.g. I cannot start a new topic, or see any embedded content. However, I'm still showing as a Gold member, which I'm not btw. Thought it may be my settings but they have also been restricted so I can only change my personal details.

Seems a bit odd, specially if you've not done anything untoward over there...

I'll have a look and see if they've done my access over as well...

Well, I can post, I can start a new topic, and I can edit pretty much anything on my profile.

I'd say chuck a mail at the management and ask them why they've restricted you - if you car/can be bothered.

I wouldnt bother..

I did a moany post the other day, about how 2 of my topics had nearly 100 views but no one could be bothered to reply.

Low and behold I got a reply to my post, but only after the same person went and answered both my original posts...

In my opinion its a total waste of time over there....

The total lack of knowledge by some posters really makes me laugh, shame when the blind are leading the blind.
Last thread I looked at was a fuel low level warning light staying lit, someone said it needs over £30 worth of fuel before it would start to go off, then another replied "it sounds like a sticky float", try some Redex in the tank to see if it will free it off!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What can you say to that,

Sent a pm to :Bazza: a while ago but reply was he couldn't see anything wrong so suggested I message the top plonker. Needless to say I cannot be bothered.
I do feel sorry for the new members asking for help as they rarely get a reply to anything but the simplest of problems e.g. "can I fit 9.5J wheels to the front of my IS200". :bored:

They seem to be more concerned about my spelling than anything else. They do seem slightly less helpfull than trapping your ballbag in a doorframe and slamming a door on them.

I think we should stop referring to them as the dark side... cos let's be honest, the dark side was always a way cooler place to be, so it don't really fit...

lol that fuel tank thread made me laugh. I know Dale_V who replied on that thread as he's an MR2 owner as well and I can picture him beating his keyboard in desperation!

At the end of the days guys what they lack in knowledge helps bring people to other forums like this one people go where the knowlege is

The natural assumption that the site in question would be the place to go is understood but as we have seen numerous times the lack of respect for the long standing members speaks volumes.

But the use of false advertising on gold members is wrong but shows just how desperate places can become.

A forum is only as strong as the members it has this club knows it that is why I'm proud to be a part of this club and will support in any way I can
