Honda made several revisions to correct the poor handling of the S2000, namely the loose rear end.

I have the revised data if anyone needs it, or you can use our own positions but be warned..... In order to keep the back end, well at the back, the tyres become sacrificial.

Hi Tony,

I read that Honda changed the geometry of the 2004 to make them less twitchy and more stable.

Could an early car simple be set to the 2004+ geometry settings to make it less twitchy?

Not sure if you know, but I have a 2005 Honda S2000 with Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric Tyres. Its geometry is set to the 2004 stock settings and the grip is amazing- the backend feels so planted and confidence inspiring.

I admit a lack of traction control and probably limited driving talent stops me from really pushing the car but I have been fast around corners in it and its great. Big Grin

Yes the early model can have the revised settings, although i believe the later models had changes to either the coil or oil to help the handling?

Yes, I believe the spring rates were changed to help soften the car up and make it easier to live with.

That would change the roll-centre and allow rear squat corner out. I was contemplating fitting an adjustable rear traction rod to control squat but it's an effect i cannot measure so the end data is a hard sell.

The alignment is the key point in the character of the s2000.
If you wanna escape the hardware get some coil overs.
