My neighbour and friend, who is a member on here Mikeydinho has just created these additional Carbon skirts for his Skyline and I am considering them for my MR2 but not quiet as wide, a little slimmer I think. They are the first he has made and has said he can do them better and will :thumbup1:

Your opinions

Be careful that they are not a Mot Failure first before making Ormi Should know.

The reason I think these could fall short on a MOT is they are outside the normal cars lines and could be classed a a hazard to pedestrian....

Standard are fitted to the body work and do not stick out with sharp edges.

never thought of that, will look into that. but if I did have them on the MR2 I was going to have them much narrower and suble on the side, so wouldn't fall outside the car lines for me..

What do you think of how they actually look though ?

not a fan, perhaps if they fitted more to the contours of the existing skirt iw ould like them more

for me at the minute that look just odd and useless, almost stuck on for the sake of sticking on???

also id me worried having a prat of a mate rest his feet on them and damage the existing skirt when these things rip off

I think they look too much like a 4x4 running board and like "carp" said,, stuck on for the sake of another mod.

I always assumed it was so it was easier to find in a crowded car park at a glance

IS200 Sport - Sold
Mazda 6 MPS - Zoom Zoom!

Modifications
Completed:

Currently 280bhp/295lbft; 3" Meercat custom exhaust; KW Suspension; FMIC; SSP; HPFP; Custom Stainless Steel Dials - for the moment, the only set in the world!! (Till the group buy for MPSOC anyway  )

In Progress:

E-Tuning remap ongoing via Cobb Accessport; Braided brake lines; Stubby aerial; Tinted repeaters and sidelights; 3 Port Boost Control Solenoid; 3" HTP Intake
