Recently joined outlaw because i love jap cars and have owned more than a few over the years. Used to be an mr2 mk2 tubs fanatic and attend shows and stuff spending too much money on mods etc. I am now on my 3rd baby Lexus is200 sport as i love them so much. My present IS is pretty bog standard at the minute but i intend to do some sensible mods. I have just fitted a new double din pioneer useing the amp bypass lead from sticky's great thread but i have lost power to my pop up sat nav so i am going to have to get some help from the ice section.
I am a mature mechanic by trade so maybe i can offer some contributions if i can find time as i work long hours 6 days. I miss going on meets and miss car shows too. I am a bit of a novice at useing forums but as soon as i get to grips with it i will upload a pic of my baby lexus. I must say that being a mechanic i have not had to do much in repairs to the IS200 because they are pretty bullit proof apart from those notorious jap calliper slides always seizing if you don't keep on top of them. I actually replaced a clutch at home on the floor last year,almost killed me getting that bell housing up that tight tunnel, had to drop the exhaust manifold back to give me just enough space. People get caught out when removing the propshaft forgetting to put those vital mounting spacers back. Anyway enough of me rambling on, I need to get on the ice section for some help. Nice to feel at home with outlaw.

Currently 280bhp/295lbft; 3" Meercat custom exhaust; KW Suspension; FMIC; SSP; HPFP; Custom Stainless Steel Dials - for the moment, the only set in the world!! (Till the group buy for MPSOC anyway :lol: )
In Progress:
E-Tuning remap ongoing via Cobb Accessport; Braided brake lines; Stubby aerial; Tinted repeaters and sidelights; 3 Port Boost Control Solenoid; 3" HTP Intake
