Looks amazing rabs. Love the nismo kit, I'm looking at the front carbon splitter too.
Found your self a real head turner there!
Think our ultra yellows are the best colour on a zed.
Would you consider doing some tech improvements to my zed if I bought the bits and you fitted (of course I would pay you in the currency of your choice)? I've got the jap sat nav console built with motorised cubby in so would need all taking out I think.

do you still have a unit in the car or is this a spare ?

as for the ribbon cable its probably a part you could get from nissan but i dont know what purpose it serves.

if this is a spare unit we could try bypassing the ribbon cable to make it work do you know where the other end is connected to ?

Lexusboy Yes Centrafuse is as interface that you can set up all your media in one programme and access it in a nice interface.

check it out at
http://www.centrafuse.com/

I've been trying to find a decent touch screen interface for ages! And I now have Centrafuse up and running as of tonight Smile

I ran into problems with the following, but have sorted them all now...

Playing .mp4 video files
Stopping the video decoder from playing the videos in super duper thin widescreen
And importing my playlists from iTunes

But all is running smoothly, so glad I read this thread!

You sound pretty technically minded so I'm sure you've done all the obvious stuff...

Device manager>disable then re enable the sound card

If your computer has optional sound software like sound blaster or something, check if it has a secondary volume control in there somewhere?

Checked all the 'sliders' in the volume mixing panel?

Must be then, can't think what else it would be :confused1:

I've just got an Asus Netbook in the glovebox for my install, but I'd really like to do something like you have where it turns itself on with ignition. Because then I can hibernate it with the screen and never have to open the glovebox Smile
