Saw the funniest crash a short while ago, was fourth in a line of four cars, the 2 upfront were a little further ahead than number 3 and 4 (me).

Anyway approaching a traffic light, changes to amber and the two in front get through no probs, I lifted off as I knew I'd have to stop, car 3 obviously had other ideas and floored it to get through.

Problem number one, the light went red long before he got through, and then to top it off cars 1 and 2 had to stop in the junction as someone was crossing the road.

Don't know how he missed it (as I saw it) but car 3 clearly totally focused on getting through the light didn't realise and when he did it was too late - there was a screech of brakes, a bit of tyre smoke and then BANG!

I can't remember the last time I've laughed so hard in the car, couldn't contain it

Felt sorry for the guy he hit and actually wanted to stop to give him my details but couldn't find anywhere to park - in my view running red lights is one of the most dangerous things you can do on the road so that idiot deserved prosecution in my view.

Just thought I'd share it as it's still cracking me up!

That does sound pretty stupid ! Did you take a note of the guy's number plate ? If so, maybe you could phone your local police's non-urgent crime reporting number and give your details as a potential witness ?

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

****........what a numpty, and dangerous too, he was accelerating and only braked at the last, hope the guy he hit was okay?

I know that I would have appreciated a witness stopping to give details when I had my prang recently , it would just have made it all so much easier. I know I will certainly do so if I see an accident.

Yep that's exactly why I wanted to stop, but it was all double yellows and there were signs about for "traffic enforcement cameras" too.

Despite my desire to help, I didn't want to get another parking ticket off CCTV......it was a pretty minor crash (under 10mph) so no one was injured thankfully.
