Right i have been reading about the tte supercharger and wondered if anyone had any advice for me on weather or not to get it. Have found someone selling the full kit with all the parts that originally came with it for £1000. Does it matter what year the car was manufactured or any other compatability issues cheers guys

Was Supercharged Racing Green IS200 Sport. Now APR Stage 1 Seat Leon Cupra (220 Bhp).
For a grand snap it up - they normally sell for 2. There are 2 types of kit but the only major difference is the intercooler connecting pipes being 1 or 2 piece (with 2 piece being easier to fit.) There were no engine layout changes over the years of the IS200 so any year kit will fit.

If you have found a genuine kit, from a genuine seller, for a grand, then GO FOR IT! But ideally view it in person, or at the very least pay by Paypal, which offers a chance of a refund if you get scammed.

Lexuslee Yeah it was on craiglist, oh well never mind will have to keep hunting, tdi do a conversion kit but think it's about £3500
Just don't want anyone else to get caught by this scam!
TDI advertise a Rotrex conversion, of which not one car has been done without major problems, IIRC.
The TTE kit is the one to go for. Though they cannot be bought new, and are very rare second hand, though they do change hands from time to time, for £2-2.5k.
