Rest in peace Steve Jobs
Rest in peace Steve Jobs
For some of you who may not know who he is, the founder and CEO of Apple has sadly passed away.
You may not like any apple products but he was a truly inspiring man who will be missed by everyone at Apple.
Rest in Peace Steve Jobs.
Cor that has happened in such a short time as he only retired from his post as CEO about 6 weeks ago. What was is it, Cancer??
As Oli said, some may not like his products but he knew how to lead his team of employees and had produced some good products.
Rest in peace Mr Jobs
Shocking news. Such a shame that the disease finally won.
Despite what people may say about Apple products - the business that Steve Jobs built was one of the most recognisable global brands and drove forward tech as we know it today.
RIP Steve.
[QUOTE=Phil01;159315What was is it, Cancer??[/QUOTE]
Yeah it was pancreatic cancer, he had some time away from Apple for a bit too before he stepped down. He'd also had a liver transplant in the past.
I'm not an Apple fan but as has been said he was an inspiration and has actually changed the world. Without him I don't think smartphones would have taken off quite as much as they have. Not to mention the iPod, iTunes and tablets.
As said, even if you didn't like Apple you cant help but respect a man whose THIRD biggest achievement was creating Pixar. :ohmy:
Real shame
RIP Steve
Someone at work just came out with this. There are three apples that changed the world, Adam and Eve's, Newton's and Steves

toxo He didn't. He just made them successful.
I think people are overracting to this a little bit. Half the world appears to be mourning the loss of a good salesman who was involved with the creation of a successful brand.
