Thinking of replaicing my front fog bulbs with led drl style ones.
just wondered if anyone had done it and if so what ones they went for and any problems etc...

I use bulbs, with over 100 SMD LEDs, for my fogs, similar to this:

Though not sure about running them as DRLs as with the beam pattern of the fog lights, they are exactly that, fog lights, and it is illegal to have them on unless visibility is reduced to less than 100m!

Ebay is cheapest.

Your car doesn't have a Canbus lighting system so unless you are using LED's in your indicators thee is no issue.

To use led's swap the flasher unit over for an Electronic one, saves faffing about with working out which resistor to use. Besides resisters get very hot - which could cause other issues is placed badly.

I have a couple of these somewhere, I may be able to fish out for you.

Do you intend to run them as DRLs? As this would not be legal.
