Google Chrome keeps crashing?
Google Chrome keeps crashing?
my google chrome has started crashing everytime i try to download a file, its ruddy annoying!
can anyone help? it only started today!

What are you trying to download? Could the file be corrupted? That can cause funny things to happen with downloads.
Your easiest option is to try and download it with another browser, your PC will still likely have IE installed (though I can't stand it), try that? If it still fails you know it's not chrome...

Hard to diagnose without more info really... I've only used chrome a couple of times, mostly stick with Firefox.
What are you trying to download? Could the file be corrupted? That can cause funny things to happen with downloads.

Seriously though I've never had any crashing problems so that does sound weird - real shame too, I use firefox occasionally but can't live without chrome as it's just so much faster than anything else!

Other than uninstalling and reinstalling I don't really have any advice (so probably as good as most IT support teams :tongue_smilie

ad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. 
Probably something wrong with the place it's trying to save to? Is it something like you last saved something to a removeable drive / usb stick and it's upset that it's not there anymore? It's a pretty naff piece of software so it wouldn't surprise me if something so straightforward could make it fall over.
