lexus android nears completion, but need switches...
I've had to relocate the original switches from the tablet, but what i'd like to do is put 6 of the small push button micro switches that are found on microwaves etc in the access cover for the sat nav.
I've got a bloke who can print me a new vinyl for the icons etc, but does anyone have any idea where i can get the actual switches? Either new, or robbed from something?
Simple push to make....
As daft as it sounds, what am i looking for mate? I know what i want, but don't know what they are called! Lol
Something like this? Is it the right voltage etc for what i want it for mate? I'm assuming you have an idea of what i'm up to?

And whatever you do, don't mention the war. I mentioned it once but I think I got away with it.
I think (uless you find something different Rabster) I'm just going to go for simple push to make switches and try to mount them under the heated seat switches somehow, maybe plastic wedged in there or something. I've sussed I only need 3 now, as the volume can be dealt with on screen. The power though...
It turns out that in order to turn it on, I need to hold the power button down for approx 3 secs. Now i was going to use a micro switch on the back of the unit, that when the screen flips up, it activates the switch and turns the tablet on, now with the needing to press the button (will be removed for the micro switch obviously!) for 3 seconds, I'm looking at something like this:

Now, i know these have been mentioned on the board before, but would they work? If so, i could get the 12v no problem, but how would i wire it, to the pause, or the pulse?
This is battering my head now, should be simple for people that understand, but I'm on a learning curve! Sorry people.
