i got import st202 with super struts.im finding it realy hard to find parts like lowerin kit new shocks ect.so wat i am thinkin get uk spec st202 change the legs over swap banna arms figer 8 links ect.i think the uk wish bone would fit but dose any one no if id keep my drive sharfts or would a need to get uk spec sharfts aswell.
however mcpherson is a totally different setup to a superstrut, you will need the whole subframe assembly and then swap the whole lot over to convert to the normal setup.
some 202's had superstrut some didnt, alot of imports had it but not the same as the st205 i believe, not really looked at the 202.

13-04-2019, 02:46 AM #4I have a SS11 on super struts, when I had the figure 8's replaced they said the GT4 running gear was the same. but I never bothered to look into it more, I was going to get the GT4 coilovers but kept it on super struts.

well i just put my car side by side a uk 202 an there so much work to change.leg wish bone and driveshafts and steering rack every think so dif.how ever the rear are spot on the same.got these weird coilovers that slide over my shocks to use smaller springs.have to see to beleave.what a st205 gt4 runs on is what ive got on my 202 at the moso a lil coverting an ill be lower new alloys coming.vilside back bumper then spray job all done

Like i said mate, people have changed the gtfour to a mcpherson setup and it was alot of work
the front superstrut is the same yes, the spring rates will be alot different as the st205 weighs alot more than a 202, i knwo toyotas own part numbers for the dampers are different too, although KYB supply a universal strut for both.
