why do you think most of the stuff I'm changing in my car has lexus logos on it? Big Grin

You open up a bonnet and see the lexus engine cover for a 1uzfe, 99.999999999% of coppers won't tell the difference, same with the LS400 brakes and factory disks.

Don't make the car look too far from factory and it will be fine. I seriously doubt this will ever come in to force in the UK though.

Seeing as its a EU Regulation they are looking at doing the UK government has NO SAY WHATSOEVER apart from their vote in the EU parliament. This is the worry at the core of the problem.
