I was going through some past projects and i noticed it mentioned a few times but can't actually find a how to with pictures or wiring diagram to do the remote boot popper, when mentioning it briefly to Rabster once he suggest i buy some relays which i did do but then i moved and forgot about it, any way was wondering if anyone here could drop a link to a how to to wire up the remote boot popper.

Rabster Think he was doing aftermarket alarm or did install?
Exactly right Rabster...
@Sparkystav - I installed an aftermarket alarm into the car 'cos the key fob was knackered so the remote for the alarm as a function to pop the boot and when i mentioned irt to Rabster he said to pull it of i needed a relay which i've since bought but forgot about doing it.
So now i'm trying to find a wiring diagram to fit this lot to my car, so when i push the remote button the boot pops open...

14-07-2022, 12:20 PM #5You need the wiring for the alarm, there is a relay in the boot from the standard popper, but it depends on the alarm output. Need to know if it's negative (ground) or positive (12v)
