I've been thinking about doing it too, people have made 300hp out of them but again, I'd want to be on the safe side and go stand alone on a map I was happy with. I'd also want something like an Eaton tvs rather than a rotrex type arrangement for a more streetable power improvement, which means custom fabrication and ££££. I have no doubt that a reliable 350ish horsepower could be had, but I'd expect to spend 8-10k on getting there, which is half way to a 2nd hand ISF.

Yeah I wouldn't be looking to push anywhere near that power to be honest. I'm going to wait and see if the cracking of the isf ecu filters down the line to allow mapping of the is250. If it does I will look more at the supercharger.

Will an eaton tvs physically fit in the engine bay? They seem huge.

If power is the goal when you get up to that sort of money it would be mad not to start with an isf agreed. For me it's not so much the need for power but the need to tinker

It sits in the v of the engine, I don't see why it wouldn't fit as it would just be in place of the standard manifold. There are kits with integral intercooler available for the uz series which fit under standard bonnets, so I see no reason the same isn't possible for the v6.

I completely understand the need to tinker, the 3gr-fse is the engine is go for as it's 250hp from the get go and lower compression, so I'd be happy turning up the boost.

Anyone else got any other feedback on coilovers/springs for the Lexus?

I'm 99% sure I will go with Meister R's but want to get this move right first time.

I've got meister Zeta R on my rx7 and find them an excellent compromise. I removed eibach potenza coilovers which were tired and the meister felt a million times better.

I can't comment on a lexus but it comes down to this, all the generic Chinese manufactured suspension is pretty similar, where meister had the edge is customers service and customization, jerrick will give you good advice and chamber your spring rates etc. Soft lower numbers for comfort, high numbers for hard.

Jdm suspension is near always rock hard amd different springs are hard to come by for jap coilovers.

You can spend a fortune on nitrons or Ohlins but unless you really are at your limits on track you likely would notice.

Meister for a street car are hard to beat.

Thanks for the feedback another review telling me what I wanted to hear on Meisters!
