Quick Tip - Quick Detailer
Quick Tip - Quick Detailer
I remember the days when I used to wash, polish and wax my car every weekend........WHY!!!!!
Once you have waxed your car then depending on the wax you used you really don't need to do anything other than wash and dry it for the next 3 months!
Ahhh but I don't really get that bling finish after just washing it you say
Well buy yourself a quick detailing spray, once you've washed and dried the car, just go round the car with the spray and bingo, showroom finish again, takes 10mins as well.
This bonnet had not been waxed for over 2 months and that finish is just after spraying some quick detailing (QD) spray on it then buffing off with a cloth
It's always handy to have a bottle if you are at a show and just want to give the car a quick rub down.
I like the meguirs QD spray but poorboys do one that contains wax as well so gives a nice top up. There are MANY different makes as with all detailing products but golden rule applies, go on recommendation and the expensive stuff is definitely not always the best.
BUT
Please remember, you should only use this on either a clean car or one with very light dust on it, it is NOT for use on dirty cars as you will just score the hell out your paint, I've seen it done many times
Totally agree with Todd on this. Photo below was taken last Sunday 20th June, last coat of wax that was put on the car was on Friday 14th May for Japfest.
All that has been done to the car is that it has been washed, dried and a coat of quick detailer, a quick and easy way to get a fresh shine on the car.
Looks lovely, if I ever get around to actually polishing and waxing the car properly, then I'll be able to use one of these too
