Ok guys as this subject has been in the lime light recently and i'd bought some diodes yesterday i was gonna do the convertion with the help of Gord (many thanks for the offer), but due to the misses wanting her Celica detailing this was put on hold till later this week, but while i was waiting for her to turn up i started to pull the boot hing off to check out the wires that needed to be cut.
I also pulled off the boot liner to have a look if there was a brake feed to the rear spoiler so i didnt have to feed a lenght of wire to the rear brake cluster for a live feed!
And this is what i found.

These feed the brake light in the rear spoiler, the red is + so this is the wire ill be taking my live feed off, so i dont have to run a length of wire to the rear light cluster!

Heres a shot of the wires to the fog light, so ill be joining my wires in the boot area and not in the hing bit.

I posted on another forum RE: will the wire that feeds the brake lights (on my car rear clusters, rear window and spoiler) be ok for me to add the fogs aswell?

Dont want to turn my car into a fireball at a set of traffic lights!!!!

Not sure which thread to post in as I think there's 3 running on this subject now but I got my bulb holders in the post today Smile Looks like they are going to need a little bit of modification with a file to fit but that's no problem.

I'm not sure what's happening about the diode kits? or can I just get some from Maplin as I think I read someone else did.
