toxo I actually worked out Veyron running costs when I got hold of the service schedule for them
If you drove 10,000 miles a year in it (which obviously you wouldn't but for arguments sake lets see where this gets us) it would cost you £1.2m a year to run for the first 2 years. After that it gets more expensive That includes everything other than insurance, so tax, petrol, tyres, servicing as per Bugatti's recommended schedule etc.
Did you know that every 4 tyre changes Bugatti say you have to change the wheels as well, due to the rotational stresses placed on them over time weakening the forged material?
Back on topic, when I had my car detailed the guy had micrometers, microscopes, measured the thickness of my paint all over (some of which was 14 microns thick cared: ) and that only cost me £75  mates rates and all that!

A loss of £128 per mile driven...........
Aston's loose value very quickly also.
back to the wash, i wouldnt trust him with the car. as he keeps testing the phikness, not the thickness
One thing i have just thought of, people with a 500k+ car wouldn't actually need to pay 7k to get it detailed, even a 200k car...cause lets face it, if your capable of buying an LFA, Zonda, Veyron, Enzo etc you could just buy a new one every 3 months (roughly how long you wait between waxing/detailing it) :S
