Phil01 im sure it would have started to disintegrate by now mate, just be aware next time, dont worry as i have knocked over a battery in the boot but took evasive action as soon as i could and no damage had occured

you could pour the whole contents of your battery over your jeans and leave it soaking for 30mins, no damage. the moment it dries your jeans will fall apart so so quickly
what you got to remember is that battery electrolyte is approx 40% acid and 60% distilled water, in its natural state battery electrolyte is only minor corrosive, the damage is done when the water dries out then leaves 100% neat acid.
