I reckon this just means that when I pass a speed camera with the needle on the limit, that I'm 4mph under it
therefore guaranteed no ticket...
I noticed my speedo reads about 4mph over the actual speed too... I've tried it when coming up to the signs that show your speed with the smiley face etc - they always read 4mph less than the speedo does (tried it with about 6 different ones)...

I've heard that most cameras are set to 10% + 2mph though. So in a 30, you shouldn't get flashed until 35. Anyone confirm this?
Yeah its definitely handy from that POV, thought I do get a little fed up with people tailing me sometimes when I think I'm doing 30 but they're probably cursing at me doing 26!
