Hi all cant remember where the post is but was mentioned that a merc supercharger could be used on is200 which as funds are low im going to build up slow and get bits! not the best way but makes a lil project for my self the one part im gonna have problems with is the mounting bracket for the charger as my fabrication is gd welding not so good lol is the any1 willing to fabricate one for me?? when i get the charger ill post to help with measurements but this is out of my expertise lol another question is where to get the pulley ill need and belt im not that knowledgeable but want to give it a gd go

It is not a simple job by any means! The TTE charger has a cradle it mounts to, and to custom make one you would have the get it just right, for the belt to line up etc. I would suggest you need one to copy. The belts can be had from most motor shops, so not an issue. The pulley might be though. The Merc charger will need modifying too if you want to make it like the TTE ones, I do not know if the pulley can be retained after you ditch the clutch mechanism.

Others have priced up this option and come up with figures of £2-3k to make an entire kit from scratch. But it depends how you are planning to work the intercooler, airbox/induction, the required ECU mods etc. and how much work you can do yourself as to what the real cost would be. There is currently a full TTE kit on LOC for £1700 and one in Sweden for £2500, (which may include an exhaust system - I didn't read that closely!)
