Hi Everyone,

I'm new here so first things first, Hi.

I've just got myself a supercharged IS200 and am having issues with the clutch for the supercharger. Just wondering if there are any common faults or if anyone knows why i'm having issues. The supercharger is an eaton m62 from a 230 compressor and the clutch is a unidamp accessory drive magnetic clutch with a 130mm pulley.

The power steering belt snapped the other week so I replaced that and since then the clutch has been spinning even when not engaged. I've checked the bearing and that's in good condition the plates are ok, a little sticky but not enough to cause a problem.

When I turn the switch on for the supercharger the revs start ramping up, it got to 3k before I switched it off as I dont want to cause any damage. When the switch is off the clutch still spins but is not energised so I can stop it by hand.

Should I be looking at the electrics for a fault in the circuit or am I looking at a new clutch?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

The charger will spin a bit with the clutch turned off as it's dragging some air through so turning the blades
