Just to clarify; the coppers can pull you over for ANY reason they like - even "checking documents" is valid...

Currently 280bhp/295lbft; 3" Meercat custom exhaust; KW Suspension; FMIC; SSP; HPFP; Custom Stainless Steel Dials - for the moment, the only set in the world!! (Till the group buy for MPSOC anyway :lol: )

In Progress:

E-Tuning remap ongoing via Cobb Accessport; Braided brake lines; Stubby aerial; Tinted repeaters and sidelights; 3 Port Boost Control Solenoid; 3" HTP Intake

Well my reg is M2 PJV and I am happy to space it legally, as it means nothing to me. Just fancied a smaller plate up front and an OCJ one at the rear is all.

I think the Police thing is a bit of a grey area, I still don't think the law allows them to pull you for no reason, but it is vague enough that it allows them to come up with a reason if they want to. But let's not get into this now!

i have show plates on mine letters are smaller but normal spacing and i have nothing on the bottom of mine i.e postcode or company who made them. never been stopped for them but i think it depends on the copper who pulls you over

This is, of course, the case. But I have had more than my fair share of run ins with the law when I was younger, and these days I like to keep my cars all legal, just so if I do attract any attention (fitting charger soon = LOUD!) then there is not a single little thing they can pull me up on.
