Of course, these are wasted without a clear engine cover .. which so far is eluding me, but we shall keep searching

My first intercooler .. and it's the right size for the job and I didn't have to cut my Do-Luck to get it to fit .. very very very happy about that!

My final post today ...
The engine is rebuilt .. the car is prepped and undercoated ...I am making plans to have it back for June, run it in and enjoy the rest of the summer with my Supra ..
And disaster strikes .. in a major way!
I get a message to say Mark from the bodyshop has had a heartattack and is in intensive care! He and his wife are friends and they have young children. It's around a week before we learn that he has had surgery and it went well and he will live!
Despite it being the main purpose of my existence for the last six months, I have to say the car didn't cross my mind for weeks while we helplessly watched this family pull themselves back together.
A few weeks later, they contacted me and said that Mark was doing well and the professional verdict was that he would make a full recovery and would be returning to work but it would be weeks away before this could be signed off. They left it with me to decide whether I waited or wanted to try elsewhere .. but it wasn't a consideration for me, they'd done all the prep work and Wayne had worked magic on my fibreglass - I knew Marks work and had no wish to complete the project without him if he was willing... so we waited
is it tomorrow yet????? need more pictures lol
is that all you had done
all i say who else noticed all the little dinks and donks around the car in the pics just shows women drivers "runs and Hides!!"
That's the second horrible comment today Rabs, don't push it ... the car had done 171,000 miles when I got it.. It was never parked anywhere by me to get any door dings and the few thousand miles I added to it before all this started were hardly enough to make ten years of burnt oil welded on or 171,000 miles of wear n tear .... I haven't forgiven you for Ribena yet :p
Looks like some serious progress is being made! Love seeing a car being stripped completely back to its component elements (even back to bare metal) and then being put back together again better than brand new (that's what got me hooked to overhaulin')
