Well I haven't updated this for a while, but that's because I haven't done a lot except drive it.

I did take it for mapping but during the mapping we were getting a noise like knock, but not knock, but it meant we couldn't map to its potential as he couldn't identify the noise to genuine knock.

So I've tweaked a few things:

Injectors - changed to a dedicated 12v
Exhaust - moved as was touching gearbox
Screamer - moved as was just touching engine
Igniters - new thicker earth
Igniters - bolted together and down
New fuel supply line on engine
New spark plugs - grade 7 (maybe 9's were too low)
Fuel pump - solid state relay for power to external pump
Fuel pump - tap off cleaned up
Injectors removed and checked
Cam position double checked
Checked injectors are correct order
Checked ignitor resistance to ecu
Made extra bracket for NOS pipework

So should have fixed it but haven't had the cash to get back to the mapper yet. So just driving it around at half boost, still fun but not as fun as It should be.

Last week I got my alarm back working properly, but now its draining the battery! Went from 12.4v yesterday to 4.5v today!
Grim, so I will take my dash back out this week to get to the wiring better and clean it up.

I've also fixed up the stereo system and removed some bits I don't use (see the for sale section Wink )

I've also been practicing my spraying and resprayed my front wings and bumper myself, quite proud of the result! Not perfect but pretty good for an amateur!

Finally, the plan was to keep the car on the road this winter but I've already started compiling a list of bits I want to do!

I did have a good look, but I got told off for snooping around the car park so I had to oggle it from the visitors centre.

The widebody looks a lot better in the flesh by the way, I think it's one of those things that pictures just can't quite capture.

If you know of one for sale let me know!

Already have the plan, I imagine the tunnel wouldn't be big enough so I'd have an exhaust out the side of the wing to accommodate it.

Winter tyres then. Jay drove his all the time on winters - not a problem.
