From Hairdresser to Street Thug.......the journey
To be able to handle such a power increase I decided to invest in a Big Brake Kit upgrade.
I went for:
FRONT:
330mm K -Sport 8 port kit (latest version)
Braided Hoses
Carbotech XP10 Pads
REAR:
GodSpeed Grooved Rear Discs
Carbotech XP10 Pads
HEL/Carbotech Braided Hoses
Extras:
Motul RBF600 Fluid 1.5 Litres
Ceratec grease to help prevent squeeking
The K-Sport kit is very well regarded but I really wanted RED Calipers. So I had the Calipers professionally painted Brembo red, which also matches the rear brembos!

lol true although there's still stroker kits available for the Supra , so I guess you need to change your sig to 'Displacement is the replacement for displacement' hehe?

One thing an Evo does do well is corner!
My car already has:
Bilstein Shocks and lowered on Eibach Prokit springs
Whiteline Rear AntiRoll Bar
I research suspension for quite a while and in the end decided to break the bank and get one of the TOP suspension setups for Evo - afterall handling is what its all about!
Ohlins, EXE-TC, Intrax, Nitrons, KW are the top top stuff. I had a ride in a Evo with Tein Coilovers on which I was initially considering because I do like the EDFC I used to have in my Aristo but I personally didn't think it was the right choice for the natural habitant of an Evo - the Backroads. Great on a smooth road surface but too harsh that leads the car to skip. The last thing I wanted to do was to compromise the handling so after much research and lots of recommendations from people in the know I went for Intrax 1K2!

I combined this with Ralliart Top Mounts rather than the Intrax top mounts because my car is principally a road car.
To aid the suspection to perform at its best I also bought a Whiteline Front Roll Center Correction Kit and a rear bump steer kit.

Awesome mate, love these cars and what a great result on the dyno
Its quite common for the OEM dumo valves to fail but people dont notice that much until they put it on the dyno
